ABOUT TARANJIT
Taranjit graduated with her Masters of Education and is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA; Member #11242133). She has experience working with school aged children (5 and up), youth from all walks of life, including those with MCFD or criminal justice involvement, as well as precariously homed youth. She also specializes in working with adults with depression, anxiety, life transitions, schizophrenia, as well as substance use issues.

Taranjit operates from an attachment based perspective as well as from a polyvagal theory
perspective. She helps provide tools through incorporating mindfulness, acceptance and
commitment therapy (ACT), CBT, play therapy, art therapy,narrative therapy, feminist therapy and emotionally focused therapy (EFT).

It is important to Taranjit to build and nurture strong relationships with her clients to create a safe
and socially just space where they can fully present themselves as they are, and feel free to
explore what comes up during sessions. She creates a non-judgemental space where all individuals are welcome.
